Connecting Through Community: Harding Energy’s Commitment to Giving Back

At Harding Energy, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. As a local business, we strive to be more than just a provider of energy solutions; we aim to be a positive force in the neighborhoods we serve. Here are some of the ways Harding Energy has been active in our community recently:

 

Participation in Charitable Events

Throughout the years, Harding Energy team members have been actively participating in various charitable events aimed at supporting local causes. Whether it’s volunteering time at food drives, participating in charity runs, or organizing fundraising events, our team is dedicated to making a meaningful impact.

Later in August, we will be the title sponsor of the Grand Haven Battle on the Boardwalk volleyball tournament. This competition event awards scholarships, funds essential equipment, and covers travel costs for the local teams.

Donations to Local Organizations

We are proud to support local organizations that make a difference in our community. Harding Energy has contributed to initiatives focused on education, environmental conservation, healthcare, and more. These donations are our way of investing in the future and well-being of our community members.

 

Over the years, Harding has supported Mosaic Counseling – a local nonprofit agency that offers accessible, affordable, professional counseling services for students of all ages. Mosaic also provides free, in-school counseling sessions across 28 Ottawa county schools in Michigan. Both Harding and Mosaic firmly believe that mental health services should not be a luxury and work to break the traditional barriers to access. Mosaic also provides FREE QPR Suicide Prevention training resources and courses.

Over 30% of Mosaic’s funding comes from annual fundraisers and donations. It’s never been easier to donate – it’s as simple as sending a text containing “MosaicCounseling” to phone number 56651 and following the prompts.

Similarly, this year Harding is sponsoring the 2024 Java Jam supporting Kenzie’s Be Café – a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization advocating for and providing meaningful employment and job skills to people with disabilities. The 2024 Java Jam takes place in the Lynne Sherwood Waterfront Stadium in Grand Haven featuring performances by several local artists.
